It's already hot, and the air does not work in my car. I think I was 20 before I realized that cars were made without air conditioning. My thoughts were oh, that's just an option, when I was car shopping. Ok, I hope it is pretty obvious that I group up in the southern part of the U.S. My dad may have been too cheap to get an automatic, or electric windows/locks, but we had Air Conditioning in the car dammit!
So I need to make time to get the car to the mechanic. Because Remnants (me) does not like to sweat for no good reason at all.

just passing through... it's funny you should mention this. i was just talking to a friend of mine who'd been w/o A/C in his car in Mississippi for a year! i was shocked he hadn't had some sort of heat stroke by now.
have a good weekend...
When/where I grew up, air conditioning was for rich people.
@blkbutterfly - Mississippi? ohh, maybe those 3 months of winter are ok, but yes, I can't imagine. Monday my car has an appointment with the mechanic. LOL
@Buck - But you grew up in Iowa, how hot are the summers there, 80 degrees?
BTW thanks for stopping by to the both of you.
Ooooh.
I do NOT play with the a/c. But then, in FL, it's such a high priority out of pure necessity.
It's been BLAZIN' out there, lately.
Good luck.
Yes, the a/c is now fixed in the car!! I don't have to move north. :-)
