Meet Me on Monday

Welcome to Meet Me on Monday sponsored by Java

Blogging is a funny thing...we tell our most intimate thoughts for all to read and yet most of the time I find myself sitting and wondering, "who is this person!?" I know them...but yet I don't know them! I want to know who the person is behind all those words so Java thought of a great way for all of us to "meet" each other! Every Sunday she posts five get-to-know-you questions that you can copy and paste into your own Monday post and we can all learn a little more about each and every one of us!!

Questions:

1. What will your Christmas dinner consist of?
2. Do you watch commercials or flip through the channels?
3. How long will you leave your Christmas decorations up?
4. What movie makes you cry every time you watch it?
5. Do you have a Facebook?

My Answers

1. What will your Christmas dinner consist of?
Definitely Mac & Cheese, Sweet potato pie, Collard greens & possibly cornish hens but I haven't decided on the meat yet. I will talk to my son tonight.

2. Do you watch commercials or flip through the channels?

Sometimes I do, because some of them are funny, but I usually have my laptop up so I start surfing the net. I watch a lot of tv shows on Hulu & the commercials are too short to leave the room or do something else.

3. How long will you leave your Christmas decorations up?

I haven't put any up this year. No kids & my son doesn't live with me so no real help to take the decorations down.

4. What movie makes you cry every time you watch it?

Hmm, "Imitation of Life" comes to mind immediately. I haven't seen it in ages but also "Steel Magnolias"

5. Do you have a Facebook?

Yes, I have connected with quite a few high school friends that I lost touch with.

@Lisa Thanks for stopping by! Ohh, I had to step away from the Bejeweled. LOL!

@Alida Expat?! Russia & then Belize...I guess your winter clothing is quite different for each country. :-)

@Chele I have that DVD set as well. I love both versions, but I think 1934 is ahead by a nose.
Ha! Ha! Thanks for introducing me to the "Monday Meetings"

I haven't put up a tree in a couple of years. I miss it. Maybe it would help me feel more Christmasy. Oh well, maybe next year.

Does the dog have a Facebook? That's what everyone really wants to know. LOL.

In case we don't chat before, Merry Christmas!

Yes I do think the decorations get you feeling the Christmas spirit a lot more. I might have to decorate next year as well.

No, the D O G doesn't have a facebook, because I'd be jealous if he had more friends than me. LOL!
